Abstract

Abstract The scissor action pincers comprises two inter-articulating arms with thumb and finger holes in the handles. The jaws enlarge into extensive laminar heads with their major surfaces parallel and perpendicular to the plane contg. the handles. The jaws are used to grip the edge of the record and are lined with neoprene to prevent damage to the record. The max. permissible angular relationship between the jaws is pref. limited by a strap built onto the arms. A lip on the lower jaw pref. limits the penetration of the record and is pref. shaped to the edge contours of a record.
