ELECTROMECHANICAL POSITION INDICATOR
Abstract
Abstract Translated from French L'invention concerne un indicateur de position. The invention relates to a position indicator. It comprises two parts, the first of which comprises two opposite parallel surfaces and the second of which comprises two parallel surfaces each extending in the immediate vicinity of one of the surfaces of the first part and parallel to this surface, a main coil being fixed on at least one of the surfaces of the first part and at least one additional coil being fixed to each of the surfaces of the second part, the two parts of the apparatus being mounted in such a way that they can be moved relative to each other to cause translation of the additional coils along a predetermined path with respect to the main coil, and the inductive coupling between each additional coil and the main coil being a function of the relative position of the two parts of the apparatus.
