Abstract

Abstract A shunt switch is connected to the selection, read-out and read-in circuits to protect all non-addressed storage elements in case of a radiation pulse. A logical error-correction and data-word retrieval circuit reconstructs the selected data word and replaces it in the memory by a reconstructed data word. This circuit has a register storing the address of each selected data word, a circuit charging this data word so that it assures a given bit configuration, preferably of "0" bits only, and another register, together with another logic circuit to form the reconstructed data word.
