Il comporte un brûleur principal des gaz résiduels et un second brûleur alimenté par un combustible à puissance calorifique élevée et destiné à enflammer ces gaz et à entretenir leur combustion. Dans ce second brûleur, la turbulence du mélange riche est plus faible que celle du mélange pauvre dans le premier brûleur. Application à la récupération de la chaleur des gaz résiduels très pauvres.
