Reconstitution of stereographic film negatives - utilises analytical processing system to adjust position of films for viewing
Abstract
Abstract Two stereographic film negatives are displaced in a plane w.r.t. two optical viewers by an analytical processing system for photogrammetric reconstitution. Views taken from different angles may be viewed in relief. Two stereographic film negatives (a, b) are displaced in their plane relative to two optical viewers (0a, 0b) which project images onto a screen (4) with some magnification. Eyes (Ea, Eb) of an operator observe the screen via filter analysers (6a, 6b) corresp. to polarisers (5a, 5b) in order that particular areas may be observed. A solid support (s) between the screen and film support (P) ensure stability of image projection onto the screen.
