Multi-room air conditioning system - has automatic valve and capillary tube for each room evaporator
Abstract
Abstract An air conditioning system as a series of evaporators for different rooms, connected to a condenser and a set of compressors with a control valve in the return line. An automatic reducing valve is in parallel with the capillary tube connected at the input of each evaporator. This controls the flow through the existing solenoid valve at the entry to the coils and which is operated by a room thermostat. This keeps the pressure of the refrigerant fluid constant when the numer of evaporators in operation is reduced. Only the first section of the evaporator coil gives a noticeable cooling effect when the automatic valve cuts off the flow, while both sections give a noticeable cooling effect when this valve is open.
