Abstract

Abstract A push-button device is incorporated in a control system for a lift. It comprises a movable button (2). This button is slidably mounted in a surrounding fixed frame (1). When the button is not depressed its head (6) and the external surface (3) of the surrounding frame, forms an appreciably continuous spherical surface. The clearance (11) between the fixed and movable parts is so small that vandalism is prevented. The button cannot be pulled off and if is difficult to insert objects into the crack between the button and its surround.
