Abstract
Abstract The slow running jet adjusting screw of an internal combustion engine carburettor is covered by a cap which prevents unauthorised tampering with the screw. The cap (17c) has a cylindrical body (34) with an internal lip (18c) which snaps into a groove on the shank of the adjusting screw. The cap is completed by an end piece (35) which closes the end of the cylindrical body. The end of the cylinder has slots (41) so that the connection between the two parts odes not run round the whole circumference. The sectors left are of reduced thickness.
