Abstract
Abstract The paving stone is cast from concrete of a strength to suit the particular application. The centre section (1) is square and irregular hexagons (2) from the end pieces. The upper face of the stone is finished with a wearing surface which has a chamfered edge (5) so that adjacent stones may be grouted together. The length of the stone is three times its width across the centre and the side faces have the same trapezoidal shape as the ends. This enables stones to be interlocked perpendicularly.
