Abstract
Abstract The young plants or seedlings are grown in pots (3'). Each pot is conical in shape, its sides being tapered; the larger diameter can be at the top or the bottom. At the top is a collared rim (34'), the sides being split (33') from this down to the bottom. A band (32') around the middle holds the sides together. The tray has a flat top with rows of holes for holding the pots, the sides of the tray diverging outwards. Pots are handles in this tray. They are removed, manually or automatically, through the top or the base, depending on the pot shape.
