Fastener for brassiere straps - has lateral male 'T' engaging female sleeve with L shaped slot
Abstract
Abstract The fastener for brassiere straps is of the type with a lateral 'T' shaped male element (12, 13) protruding from a strap end (A) to engage a slotted (24) sleeve (22) provided on the other strap end (B), and has a sleeve slot of such geometry that axial displacement of the 'T' bar (13) once lodged in the sleeve is not allowed unless preceded by a 90 deg. rotation of the bar (13) w.r.t. its long axis. The sleeve (22) is open ended and normal w.r.t. the strap'L' shaped with a narrow stem (24a) extending from one sleeve end for a quarter of the sleeve length, and a bar (24a) of half sleeve length in depth and a quarter of sleeve circumference in length. The 'L' stem (24a) locates in the outer facing sleeve wall, the bar (24) faces the counterpart strap end (A) and the coupling is made by an axial sliding of the 'T' bar (13) into the sleeve followed by rotation.
