Refrigerator with hot and cold outputs - has extra coils and three-way valves included to maintain required balance
Abstract
Abstract The refrigeration system for producing both hot water and e.g. ice, with a symmetrical arrangement of condensers, compressors, evaporators and three way valves, also temperature sensors and controllers, as in the main patent, includes additional coils in parallel with the main coils and an additional three way valve in series with each additional coil so that a balance can be maintained between the hot and cold requirements when alterations to their outputs may be called for, above a given level. thus the total flow of refrigerant through the evaporators in that half of the circuit controlling the cold supply or through the condensers controlling the hot supply or through the condensers operating the corresponding series valve or valves.
