Game with board having hexagonal squares - has different form pieces movable alternately by players

Abstract

Abstract The game is for two or more protagonists, taking place on a board sub-divided into hexagonal squares, and has opposed teams of mobile pieces which eliminate one another chess fashion. A team is composed of pieces of different natures (i.e. movement characteristics). The game is initiated, not by arranging the teams into pre-disposed formations but by setting the pieces at random in turn; and the object of the game is to clear the board of your opponent's pieces. Each hexagonal square communicated with six others, a piece thus having six choices of movement direction. The game can be played in stages, i.e. initial strategy and end play phases, and chance cards can be used to dictate initial formation.
