Abstract

Abstract The soles are used to improve the muscles of the lower leg and are made in four elements (1, 2, 3, 4) from aluminium, steel or plastic. These are articulated to reproduce the movement of the foot and are layered to make them supple. They are fixed under the sole of the shoe by three adjustable straps (7). The sole is covered by an outer protective layer (6) so that they can be used indoors. Cells in the sole hold the weights which can be varied.
