Ceiling mounted refrigerating and heating unit - has flaps controlling reversal of flow movable to de-icing position
Abstract
Abstract The unit is fitted with an additional swinging flap arrangement (20, 21) by means of which the system is reversed to achieve this result, and which can also be positioned to prevent accumulation of ice on the evaporator (11). In the heating position, room air is drawn past lower flaps (13, 14) and circulated by a lower fan (6) guided by the upper flaps (21) which also pass cold air through the evaporator drawn by an upper fan (12). For cooling, the lower flaps (13, 14) are operated so that cold air is circulated by the lower fan (6). for de-icing, bothf the outer lower flaps (14) are closed, both the inner lower flaps (13) are opened and room air is drawn past the evaporator by positioning both blades of the upper flaps (20, 21) inwards.
