Abstract
Abstract A supporting strip of C-section in flexible and preformed material fits right over the occipital part of the peripheral head mounting band of the mask, hooking over the band edges. The welder's head is protected by a cushion of polyurethane foam or similar elastic and comfortable material, glued onto the supporting strip. The assembly is quickly and cheaply replaceable and the foam cushion is attached using any suitable cold setting or thermosetting adhesive.
