Abstract
Abstract The light pressure applied such as by a spatula, during winding presses the adhesive core through into the foam to give a holding and binding effect. The core is of a thermoplastic polymerisate, polycaprolactone, trans 1.4-polyisoprene or polychloroprene with a Williams plasticity of 0.4-8.0 mm. The foam cladding is na open-cell polyurethane. The purpose is to provide a firmly-wound bandage, easy to apply and to wear, cheap to produce, and which does not develop ridges.
