Abstract
Abstract The napkin has in insert of cellulose fibre cushion material, formed by a pressing operation into a dimpled pattern, the troughs having a higher fibre density and thus absorbency than the peaks. The relative distribution of peaks and troughs is a varied over the area of the pad so that selective absorbency is matched to the concentrated for a boy baby, and diffuse for a girl baby, flow of body fluids. The edges are doubled over for extra absorbency along the crotch piece. The napkin is more comfortable.
