Abstract
Abstract 3-Cyanopyridine adenine dinucleotide (I) is more effective as a coenzyme for oxydo-reductases than known nicotinamide adenine dinulceotides. It may therefore be used in the measurement of blood alcohol content. (I) is prepared by treatment of the corresp. thionicotinamide with a heavy metal sulphide.
