Abstract
Abstract In the making of several-layered bituminous road-surfacing, an adhesive or binding layer is included between two lays of asphalt. This is in the form of a foil and consists of a mineral or collophony resin or a synthetic resin (softening pt. >50 deg.C) or a bitumen (softening pt. >50 deg.C), with a plasticiser, preferably a vinylacetate and ethylene co-polymer. Speed of application. Resistance to climatic temp. extremes.
