Abstract At least one of the condyles (8, 9) of the prosthesis' femoral component (1) has a convex cam (13) on one side (12), while the tibial plate has a track (18) for the cam adjacent to its recess receiving the condyle. The track is delimited by at least one curved stop and one or more horizontal recesses between the posterior and anterior ends of the tibial plate
