Abstract
Abstract Component (10) for absorbing forces has a frame (20) comprising a flexible outer wall (12) and bars (11, 11a) hinged on the inner side of the outer wall. The bars are connected to each other via the outer wall and mutually interact with each other. The frame is designed to support a force exerted by a solid body and to deflect the outer wall loaded by the force against the direction of the force. <??>Preferred Features: An elastic fixing device (18) connects the bars to the outer wall.
