Abstract
Abstract The modulators at the transmission sides regenerates multiple electrical or optical signals, using a single clock circuit. A clock acquisition unit (305) at the receiving side, acquires the signal from the channel selected from a demultiplexer (330) to extract the transmission clock. The extracted clock signal is supplied to the regenerators (310,312,314,316), using a single clock source (320).
