Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to a high-pressure discharge lamp (2) provided with a discharge vessel (3). The discharge vessel (3) is enveloped with clearance by an outer bulb (1) having a cap. According to the invention, the outer bulb (1) is translucent and substantially tubular in shape.
