Panel for plate radiator / cooler and process for making same
Abstract
Abstract The panel for a heating (cooling) body comprises two parallel, particularly welded, plates, joined to each other in their edge areas, in which the throughflow paths for the heating (cooling) fluid are formed by channels (3). On two opposing longitudinal sides (22,23) of the panel (1), crossways or vertical to the throughflow paths are fluid guide and collection channels (2,2'). The fluid guide channels with the through-flow channels have extending indentations (6,6'), particularly regularly spaced apart. The indentations in alternating sequence are formed in the two guide channels running lengthways to a longitudinal edge side. In this area they close the guide channels and thereby produce a meander-shaped fluid path through the panel.
