Abstract The rear view mirror has a support arm (1) with an attached mirror housing (2) receiving a carrier plate (12) with an attached mirror disc (11) and enclosing an antenna unit (25) within an open recess (24), closed by the inserted carrier plate, the rear surface (16) of the latter securing the antenna unit in the recess.
