Abstract
Abstract Hair dye agent based on a developer-coupler system which reacts with peroxide comprises a combination of: (a) at least one triaminohydroxypyrimidine (or a water-soluble salt of this); (b) 5-amino-2-methylphenol; and (c) 4-amino-3-methylphenol. Preferably, the composition also contains an additional coupler substance selected from resorcinol, 2-methylresorcinol, 4-chlororesorcinol, 3-aminophenol, alpha -naphthol, 2-amino-4-( beta -hydroxyethylamino)anisole and/or water-soluble salts of these.
