Abstract
Abstract The method involves an SDMA mobile telephone network which includes several radio cells (C) which are supplied by one radio base station (BTS). These stations have a base station controller (BSC) for making connections between the radio stations and the mobile telephone (MS). The BSC is connected with a data bank (DB) through the mobile telephone exchange MSC, coupling the network with the public telephone network that manages subscriber data. The data bank supplies necessary information for locating the subscriber.
