Abstract
Abstract The process determines the size of the operating parameters of a centrifuge, such as the vol. to which it is filled with liquids or solids. The frequency and intensity of oscillations are determined by means of an oscillation sensor (13) on the centrifuge generating electrical signals. The signals so generated are subjected to frequency spectrum analysis (20), selected individual harmonic oscillations are isolated and the amplitude is determined and evaluated (21) and displayed (22) over a given time interval. The frequency spectrum analysis incorporates a Fast-Fourier-Transformation (FFT).
