Abstract
Abstract The adjustable terminal for a pre-wired system includes a face plate (1) and a connector (2) mounted behind the face plate. The connector is attached to a printed circuit board (3) which has contacts (4) attached to receive pairs of conductors (6). An optional protective rear cover (5) may be provided beneath the face plate. An opto-electronic transducer (7) may also be attached to the circuit board. This includes an optical fibre connector to receive fibres which are led into the housing. The opto-electronic transducer is remotely supplied by one of the pairs of conductors (6). <IMAGE>
