Portable multipurpose card for personal computer

Abstract

Abstract The invention relates to a plug-in multipurpose portable card (1) especially in a reader of a personal computer, including a first connector (3) intended for connection with the said reader and arranged on the periphery of a casing (2). According to the invention, the portable card (1) includes on the one hand a movable drawer (5) arranged on one edge of the card (1) and engaging in a cavity (4) in the casing (2), including a cavity-cutout (6) furnished with a bottom (6a), and intended to receive a chip (7) carried by a token (8) and, on the other hand, a second connector (12, 13) electronically linked with the first connector (3). The invention applies in particular to the PCMCIA cards. <IMAGE>
