Inspection apparatus related to individuals for telephone dialing

Abstract

Abstract Situations arise in the private or business domain wherein restriction of the scope of use of the telephone terminal is desirable in terms of specific user areas or blocks of telephone numbers for specific individuals. For this purpose, an inspection apparatus related to individuals for telephone dialling is indicated by means of which the establishment of specific line connections can be permitted or prevented, which is characterised according to the invention in that a control unit (1) which is provided with a card reader and which blocks the telecommunications connection socket (5) is permanently installed between the telecommunications connection socket (5) and the terminal (10) and that the control unit (1) releases or blocks the dial-up facility for specific user areas or blocks of telephone numbers for the terminal connected to it depending on programming which is held on the individual-related card which is inserted in the card reader. <IMAGE>
