Dieser Deckel ist einstückig mit den Oberteilen der Nockenwellenlager ausgebildet. Die Anordnung weist eine einzige Trennebene auf, an die sowohl das Grundgehäuse mit hochgezogenen Außenwänden, als auch das Lagergehäuse und der Zylinderkopfdeckel grenzen.
