Apparatus for controlling and regulating electric, electronic or electro-mechanic components in railway vehicles
Abstract
Device for controlling and regulating electrical, electronic or electromechanical components in rail vehicles, each interchangeable component (2a, 2b, 2c) being assigned a substation (3a, 3b, 3c) which contains a microcomputer (4a, 4b, 4c) and with is connected to a control center (7) via at least one transmission path (6), the control center (7) contains at least one microcomputer (10) and a non-volatile fault memory (11) and is set up to deal with abnormal behavior of the components (2a, 2b, 2c) by processing data arriving from the substations (3a, 3b, 3c), to set up error messages with an error code and to store these error messages relating to individual components not only in their error memory (11) but also to send such error messages to the relevant component (2a, 2b, 2c), whose substation (3a, 3b, 3c) is in turn set up to receive the error message catch and store in a non-volatile fault memory (13a, 13b, 13c), which is a physical part of the substation and thus the component.
