Abstract
Abstract A codable connector having a plug part and a socket with an insertion opening, especially for communications technology. A coding plate is provided on the insertion opening, which coding plate has a recess with at least one projection, and at least one recess is provided on the plug part, which recess interacts with the projection on the coding plate. The coding plate (1) is a thin metal platelet which can be placed onto that end wall of the socket (10) which is provided with the insertion opening (12). <IMAGE>
