Supplementary seat belt device for the rear seat of a vehicle equipped with only two seat belts

Abstract

Abstract A removable seat (safety) belt (5) is fitted at each of its ends with means for attaching to the male or female connector plugs with which the two seat belts (2, 3) installed on the rear bench (seat) of a vehicle are equipped. The belt is fitted at each of its ends with a female connector allowing it to be connected to the male connectors (22, 32) of the belts (2, 3), or alternatively it comprises, at each of its ends, a female connector (51, 53) connected to a male connector (50, 52), the male connectors (50, 52) being intended to be attached to the female connectors (23, 33) of the belts (2, 3) and the female connectors (51, 53) to be attached to the male connectors (22, 32) of the belts (2, 3). <IMAGE>
