Method and apparatus for the analysis of a message emitted by interactive means to a man-machine dialog system
Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to a method and apparatus for the analysis of a message emitted by interactive means to a man-machine dialogue system. The method comprises three consecutive steps, a first step of syntax analysis (1, 2, 3), a second step of semantic analysis (5) and a third step of execution analysis (6). The syntax analysis (1, 2, 3) evaluates the conformity of a message (4) emitted by the interactive means with a predefined pattern of dialogue, the semantic analysis (5) evaluates the sense of the request from the operator in dialogue with the machine and the execution analysis (6) determines the carrying-out of an action to be undertaken arising from the step of semantic analysis. Application: systems for man-machine dialogue including several means of interaction such as speech, gesture or sight in particular. <IMAGE>
