Abstract
Abstract The plug pin (2) is protected by a cover (6) which is opened when the plug part (1) is inserted in a linear fashion into the jacket/socket part (3). For this purpose, the socket part is provided with a control track, for example in the form of guide grooves (30) which cooperate with the cover (6). When the plug part (1) is retracted, the cover (6) is reclosed with the aid of the control track. <IMAGE>
