Solid material containing chemically bound alkyl metal groups and the use thereof
Abstract
In a new solid on the basis of at least one divalent or higher metal alkyl A and a finely divided, porous and mechanically stable support B, which carries functional groups on its surface in the unloaded state, which form a chemical bond between the metal atoms of the metal alkyl A and the surface can accomplish the carrier, and which is otherwise chemically inert, the metal atoms originating from the metal alkyls A are chemically bonded to the surface of the carrier B, metal alkyl groups are still present and there is no longer any metal alkyl A which can be obtained using an inert organic solvent for Metallalkyl A could be extracted. The new solid is suitable for the cleaning of liquid and gaseous substances as well as chemical reactors in which air and / or water sensitive substances are reacted with one another, from impurities in the ppm range.
