Abstract
Abstract Disclosed is a novel stent having a plurality of layers. It comprises an inner metallic core (40), an outer layer (46) made of non-thrombogenic material such as isotropic carbon and, optionally, an intermediary layer (44) made of plastic such as polytetrafluorethylene.
