Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 9
Claim 1
Independent Claim 114 words
A text processing system comprising pagewise text display means as based on a character representability, supported by text processing means and text storage means and having a user interface featuring a set of text manipulating actions activatable through mechanical user actuation of an appropriate input means, characterized in that said display means has an audio display mode as based on linewise pseudo character representation and in said audio display mode featuring at least a first subset of the set of text manipulating actions operating on displayed audio in similar way as on displayed text and each of the latter actions having a mapped effect on the actual stored audio corresponding to displayed pseudo characters.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 34 words
A text processing system as claimed in Claim 1, wherein said audio is voice at a linewise display scale that is comparable to text display, and comprising delimiters as signalizations of detected silence instants.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 59 words
A text processing system as claimed in Claim 1 or 2, wherein said display means has a fax display mode as based on linewise representation of said fax and in said fax mode featuring at least a second subset of the set of text manipulating actions operating on a displayed fax area in similar way as on displayed text.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 113 words
A text processing system comprising pagewise text display means as based on a character representability, supported by text processing means and text storage means and having a user interface featuring a set of text manipulating actions activatable through mechanical user actuation of an appropriate input means, characterized in that said display means has a fax display mode as based on linewise facsimile representation and in said fax display mode featuring at least a second subset of the set of text manipulating actions operating on displayed fax in similar way as on displayed text and each of the latter actions having a mapped effect on actual stored facsimile information corresponding to said facsimile representation.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 27 words
A text processing system as claimed in Claim 3 or 4 having skew correcting means for under user control correcting skew of a particular line of fax.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 41 words
A text processing system as claimed in Claim 3 or 4 and having orientation detection means for detecting a local orientation of a displayed fax text line for allowing word and/or line select by said actions along a so detected line.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 22 words
A text processing system according to any of Claim 3 to 6, wherein said fax is linewise represented as further pseudo characters.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 23 words
A text processing system as claimed in any of Claims 3 or 5 to 7, wherein said first and second subsets are identical.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 28 words
A text processing system as claimed in any of Claims 1 to 8, wherein said pseudo characters have two variable attributes assigned thereto, such as size and colour.
