Abstract
Abstract A honeycomb heater has an integrated honeycomb structure obtained by connecting in series, via conductive plates (11), a plurality of honeycomb structure elements (10) each having a large number of passages (14 or 15) and each generating heat when electrified. At least two electrodes (13) are provided on the integrated honeycomb structure for enabling the electrical heating thereof.
