Abstract
Abstract A sanitary wall fitting (1) comprises a connection stub (3) which can be connected to the domestic pipe system. A covering collar (16) can be screwed axially onto the connection stub (3); it contains a moulded sealing ring (19) which moves together with the covering collar (16). The moulded sealing ring (19) comprises a first region (20) which seals off the covering collar (16) from the connection stub (3). A second region (21) of the moulded sealing ring (19) interacts like a thread with an external thread (7) provided on that end of the connection stub (3) which is near to the wall. <IMAGE>

Claims Analysis
Total Claims: 6
Claim 1
Independent Claim
159 words
Sanitary wall fitting comprising a housing (2) on which at least one connection pipe (3) for connection to the house pipe is constructed, a covering rosette (16) which can be screwed on axially over the connection pipe (3), and a shaped sealing ring (19) which seals the covering rosette (16) with respect to the connection pipe (3) and carries one (22) of the two screw threads (7, 22) that cooperate when the covering rosette (16) is being screwed on, characterised in that the shaped sealing ring (19) is fastened in the interior of the covering rosette (16) and is movable therewith and comprises: a) a first region (20) that rests displaceably on the connection pipe (3) and provides the seal; b) a second region (21), axially offset from the first region (20), which cooperates in the manner of a screw thread with an external screw thread (7) located on the end of the connection pipe (3) towards the wall.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
52 words
Sanitary wall fitting according to claim 1, characterised in that the external screw thread (7) is located on the region, projecting out of the connection pipe (3), of a connection nipple (4) that is axially fixed but is rotatable relative to the connection pipe (3) and that serves to fasten an S-connection.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
31 words
Sanitary wall fitting according to claim 2, characterised in that the connecting thread (7) is cut in the optionally rounded edges of a tool-locating face (6) of the connection nipple (4).
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
45 words
Sanitary wall fitting according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the second region (21) of the shaped sealing ring (19) has a smooth cylindrical inner circumferential surface (22) which, upon being screwed on, is pressed into the external screw thread (7).
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
41 words
Sanitary wall fitting according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the shaped sealing ring has a third region, which is capable of sealing the edge of the covering rosette with respect to the wall of the building.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim
47 words
Sanitary wall fitting according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the shaped sealing ring (19) is clipped onto a collar (18) of the covering rosette (16), which collar (18) extends along the edge of the opening (17) that receives the connection pipe (3).
