Abstract

Abstract A video signal processing apparatus for processing a video signal generated by an image sensing device in a video camera comprises; circuit (3-8) for generating a motion vector representing a motion amount and motion direction between consecutive frames of the video signal, circuit (9,10) for judging whether the motion vector represents the undesired motion of the image sensing device or not, correcting signal generating circuit (11) for generating a correcting signal according to the motion vector, delay circuit (2) for delaying the video signal in response to the correcting signal, memory circuit (16) for storing a video information corresponding to a peripheral portion of an effective picture area of the image sensing device, and selector (14) for selecting one of the outputs of the memory means (16) and the delay means (2), thereby the corrected video signal is generated from the selecting means (14).

Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 4
Claim 1
Independent Claim 145 words
A video signal processing apparatus for processing a video signal generated by an image sensing device in a video camera comprising: means (3-8) for generating a motion vector representing a motion amount and motion direction between consecutive frames of said video signal, means (9,10) for judging whether said motion vector represents the undesired motion of said image sensing device or not, correcting signal generating means (11) for generating a correcting signal according to said motion vector, delay means (2) for delaying said video signal in response to said correcting signal, memory means (16) for storing a video information corresponding to a peripheral portion of an effective picture area of said image sensing device, and selecting means (14) for selecting one of the outputs of said memory means (16) and said delay means (2), thereby the corrected video signal is generated from said selecting means (14).
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 65 words
A video signal processing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said motion vector generating means (3-8) includes means (3,5) for storing representing pixel data of each block having a plurality of pixels, subtracting means (4,6) for subtracting current pixel data of each block from said representing pixel data of the corresponding block, and accumulating means (7,8) for accumulating the outputs of said subtracting means (4,6).
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 89 words
A video signal processing apparatus according to claim 2, wherein said judging means (9,10) includes detecting means for detecting the difference between the representing pixel data of each block stored in said storing means (7,8) and the representing data of the corresponding block in the current frame and distribution table generating means (9) for generating a distribution table in response to the output of said detecting means, said distribution table generating means (9) including a memory having a plurality of address areas corresponding to the pixel of a block.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 29 words
A video signal processing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said video camera includes a view finder on which a marker (25) corresponding to said correcting signal is displayed.
