Claim 2

A disc (15) according to claim 1, further comprising operation image data for displaying a control panel (46a) having a plurality of operation keys for selecting said audio data or for operating the playback of said audio data on said display means (13a, 13b) of said reproducing apparatus and third program data for displaying said operation image data on said display means (13a, 13b) together with said image data (46b).

Claim 3

A disc (15) according to claim 2, further comprising program data for displaying said image data (46b) in the form of compressed data when said operation image data is displayed on said display means (13a, 13b) together with said image data (46b).

Claim 4

A disc (15) according to claim 2 or 3, further comprising program data by which said control panel (46a) displayed on said display means (13a, 13b) can be displayed at selected position of a display screen (13a) of said display means (13a, 13b) in response to an operation of operation means provided in said reproducing apparatus.

Claim 5

A disc (15) according to anyone of claims 2 to 4, wherein contents of operation functions of respective operation keys on said control panel (46a) are recorded at least in two forms and a program data for selecting these forms is recorded.

Claim 6

A disc (15) according to claim 5, wherein the contents of the operation functions of respective operation keys on said control panel (46a) are recorded at least in two languages.

Claim 7

A disc reproducing apparatus for reproducing a disc (15) on which at least audio data such as sound, music or the like and image data (46a) such as pictures, characters or the like are recorded, comprising: reproducing means (28, 38, 41, 42, 43) for reproducing audio data recorded on said disc (15); memory means (35a, 35b) for writing therein image data (46b) recorded on said disc (15); video signal generating means (34a, 34b, 39) for generating a video signal on the basis of image data (46b) stored in said memory means (35a, 35b); display means (13a) supplied with said video signal and displaying thereon said image data (46b); and image processing means (34a, 34b) for writing said image data (46b) on said memory means (35a, 35b) when said audio data is reproduced and selecting said image data (46b) written so that selected image data is sequentially displayed on said display means (13a).

Claim 8

A disc reproducing apparatus according to claim 7, wherein said image data (46b) is displayed on said display means (13a) in the same order as that of reproducing said audio data.

Claim 9

A disc reproducing apparatus according to claim 7 or 8, further comprising means for writing from said disc operation image data for displaying a control panel (46a) having a plurality of operation keys used to select said audio data or to reproduce said audio data in said memory means (35a, 35b), reading out said written operation data together with said image data (46b) and displaying said control panel (46a) on said display means (13a) together with said image data (46b).

Claim 10

A disc reproducing apparatus according to claim 9, further comprising means for displaying contents of operation functions of respective operation keys of said control panel (46a) at least in two forms and selecting these forms.

Claim 11

A disc reproducing apparatus according to claim 9 or 10, wherein the displayed form of said control panel (46a) is selected by an X-Y pointing device (11) and a plurality of trigger switches (10a, 10b).

Claim 12

A disc reproducing apparatus according to anyone of claims 9 to 11, further comprising means (34a, 34b) for compressing said image data (46b) by selecting and throwing away pixels of said image data (46b) and means (40a) for displaying the compressed image data on a display screen (13a) of said display means (13a, 13b) together with said control panel (46a).

Claim 13

A disc reproducing apparatus according to anyone of claims 9 to 12, further comprising means (30) for selecting a position at which said control panel (46a) is displayed on said display screen (13a) of said display means (13a, 13b).

Claim 14

A disc reproducing apparatus according to claim 13, wherein the position of said control panel (46a) on said display screen (13a) of said display means (13a, 13b) is selected by an X-Y pointing device (11) and a plurality of trigger switches (10a, 10b).

Claim 15

A disc reproducing apparatus for reproducing a disc (15) on which at least audio data such as sound, music or the like and image data (46b) such as pictures, characters or the like are recorded, comprising: memory means (35a, 35b) for writing image data (46b) recorded on said disc (15); means (34a, 34b) for compressing said image data (46a) stored in said memory means (35a, 35b) by selecting and throwing away pixels of said image data (46b) and writing said compressed image data on said memory means (35a, 35b); display means (40a, 13a) supplied with a video signal generated on the basis of said compressed image data and displaying said compressed image data; means for writing from said disc operation image data for displaying a control panel (46a) having a plurality of operation keys used to select said image data (46b) or to operate a display of said image data (46b) in said memory means (35a, 35b), and reading out said written operation data together with said compressed image data; and means (39, 40a) for displaying said control panel (46a) generated by said operation image data on a display screen (13a) of said display means (13a, 13b) together with said compressed image data.

Claim 16

A disc reproducing apparatus according to claim 15, further comprising means (39, 40a) for displaying contents of operation functions of respective operation keys of said control panel (46a) at least in two forms and selecting these forms.

Claim 17

A disc reproducing apparatus according to claim 15 or 16, further comprising means (30) for selecting a position at which said control panel (46a) is displayed on said display screen (13a) of said display means (13a, 13b).
