Um ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Herstellung von Chip-Karten zu schaffen, mit konstruktiv einfachen Mitteln fertig dekorierte Chip-Karten schnell und sicher zu produzieren, wird vorgeschlagen, daß in die geöffnete Kavität (44) der Spritzgießmaschine ein Film (30), der an seiner Breitseite mit ein- oder zweiseitigem Dekor beschichtet ist, eingeführt und positioniert wird, daß danach die Kavität geschlossen und der Film (30) klemmend fixiert wird, daß nach Schließen der Kavität dieser deckelseitig ein aus einer Folie (21) gestanzter Chip (27) kraftschlüssig gehaltert zugeführt wird, daß anschließend eine Trägermasse für die Chip-Karte in die Kavität eingespritzt wird und daß nach Beendigung des Einspritzvorganges der Anguß gestanzt, die Kavität geöffnet und die Chip-Karte entnommen wird. <IMAGE> The invention relates to a method for producing a decorated chip card in an injection molding machine.
