Distribution frame for telecommunications

Abstract

Abstract The distribution frame (1) is intended for connecting external and internal cables (7, 8) for screened communication engineering cabinets (S). It consists of a cabinet-like housing (2) with door (3), which is mounted in the cabinet (S), and of rails (4a) as carriers for plug-in connectors (KS, GS, KL) and dummy rails (4b). The rails (4a, 4b) have a U-shaped section and can be hooked in and locked on the rear wall (5) in the housing (2). Together with the rear wall (5) and bottom plate (14) of the housing (2), they form a screen wall onto which the external lines (7) are plugged from the front (outside) on the plug-in connectors (GS, KS, KL), to which the internal lines (8) are carried from behind (inside). <IMAGE>
