Abstract
Abstract The method comprises mixing a phosphorescent substance with a hardenable substance temporarily in the fluid state. The hardenable substance can comprise a cement or resinous matrix. The article obtained is phosphorescent and has excellent mechanical strength and resistance to the aggressive chemical substances usually found in the air. When suitably shaped, the article can be used for example as an indicating sign or as a facing in the building industry.
