Abstract
Abstract The intake conduit, composed in particular of plastic, for an internal combustion engine, in particular for a motor vehicle, is characterised by a cross section variable in its area. The variation in the cross sectional area of at least on section of the intake conduit is controlled by characteristic data on the engine operating state, especially the number of revolutions and the cycle frequency.
