Recipient with flat receiver for extruding and method for manufacture

Abstract

Abstract The present invention relates to a recipient for extruders and to a method for its manufacture, in which an inner bush (3), which is provided with a receiving chamber (2) flat in the direction of the transverse axis and bounded by recesses, is connected to at least one outer component (4) by shrink fitting. According to the invention, elevated compressive stresses are applied in that zone of the inner bush (3) which adjoins the internal surface, at least in the region of the internal surfaces (31, 31') of the rounded recesses, by means of a noncircular cross-sectional shape or shapes of the component or components and/or by means of a flat part (6) between the parts (3, 4, 5) of the recipient.
